FRESH START!
That's right, I've decided to start over..... Again >.<
I've also changed the name, Briar Vale didn't quite sound as unique as I wanted it to. We're now known as Wildelea (Thanks Nea for the huge help with the name)
I'm working on new staff and their biographies, some new horses might pop up. Aswell as some new cc. Some of you probably know that I took a little break because I wanted to focus more on getting everything but truth to be told, I didn't really stop making, I just stopped sharing.
Now, what this all means is that the site will undergo a series of changes over the near future. but be sure to check in once in a while for more updates ^_^
EDIT: I'll be moving completly, will post the new link here ofc ^^
Oh and I'll also be introducing new breeds to my stables and I'm also really temptedto open up a "Wildelea Exotic Animals" corporation, where I will breed and sell giraffebabies (+adults) Aswell as some other exotic animals (If I can ake them >.<)

Briar Vale was founded in 1965 by the renowned rider and competitor Glenn Gilmore and his wife Arabella. Briar Vale's reputation quickly grew and to own and care for one of Briar Vale's horses was a privilege. To Glenn, the horses were all his sons and daughters, whom he cared for everyday of his life.
Arabella was Briar Vale's veterinarian and she cared greatly for all animals, no matter what species or age. She loved all the animals on the farm and they had a warm place in her heart, along with her husband and her granchild Elspeth. Elspeth lost her parents in a tragic accident and has since then lived with her grandparent on Briar Vale grounds. She was also the one that inherited it all when her Glenn and Arabella passed away. One of the founding horses was the unique and grazeful swedish warmblood, Jackrabbit. He was Glenn's favourite amongst them all and also one of their premium stallions, only offered to premium mares, that way they could carry on his good bloodlines through generations. Along with Jackrabbit was Klienn, a calm and beautiful bay mare. She was, just as Jackrabbit, one of the founding horses of Briar Vale. Klienn was the horse that taught Elspeth how to ride, they were an unbeatable pair and participated in many international competitions together. When Klienn was retired, Elspeth lost all interest in competing and instead she became very interested in breeding. Her grandfather taught her everything she needed to know and although breeding may not be the main focus of Briar Vale, it's a big part of Elspeth's life and you will see some foals in the future and we can assure you that every horse at Briar Vale, as before, is a privilege to care for. |
